Laurie Kappe founded i.e. communications, LLC in 1997 with a guiding purpose: to heighten awareness of issues and bring about social and political change. We research how policies are made and changed and what messages will resonate with key decision-makers. We create innovative, effective methods for communicating these messages.

i.e. is small, smart, and keenly aware of the unique demographic, economic, political, and social circumstances that distinguish California. We see the "big picture" and help clients target limited resources into effective action. We are passionate about our work and the communities we help.

"Laurie Kappe is focused on turning talk into policy."
