Beth brings nearly 25 years of marketing, management and partnership development experience, spanning multi-billion dollar companies to local, national and international nonprofits.
Beth has worked with i.e. communications for nearly five years, with an emphasis on clients in child welfare, where she applies her decades of marketing experience with her passion and lived experience with youth from foster care. Prior to her work with i.e., Beth held senior-level marketing positions at Kiva, the first consumer microfinance platform; and CARE, one of the largest international humanitarian organizations. Beth started her nonprofit career as Executive Director of San Francisco-based Hands On Bay Area. In the for-profit sector, Beth spent over 10 years in consumer and high-tech marketing with Procter & Gamble, Kodak and Adobe.
In addition to her professional experience, Beth brings 13 years of hands-on knowledge of the foster care system - from CASA, to foster parent, to foster-adopt parent. Her personal passion to understand and improve the lives of foster youth has driven her to greater levels of involvement with youth, biological parents and social workers.
Beth has a bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University, and a MBA from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University.
